New! Our new extra melty cheeses are made from a base of organic soy milk. This adds some protein, nutrients, and creaminess to the cheese. The difference between this and our classic (green label) cheeses is that it is more firm, and it also melts faster and more easily. It is the perfect choice for grilled cheese, quesadillas, inside vegan omelettes, on pizza, on nachos, etc. It also stays melty/gooey longer than our classic cheese. This vegan shredded cheddar style cheese is flavorful, convenient, and versatile! It is preshredded and frozen, so just keep it in your freezer and take out shredded cheese any time you want!! It is perfect as a casserole topping, on pizza, cheesy breadsticks, nachos, grilled cheese, and much more! When melted it gets nice and gooey/stretchy! Add it to some macaroni and nondairy milk for an instant mac’n’cheese! It is awesome in grilled cheese sandwiches or on top of a “cheeseburger” style pizza. This will stay fresh in the freezer for several months. When using, put the unused portion back into the freezer as soon as possible. For the best melt on pizza, put the cheese under the toppings. So lay out your crust, spread your sauce, layer your cheese, and then top with whatever toppings you’d like. Try our vegan pepperoni or sausages as a pizza topping! If desired, drizzle with a touch of olive oil and a sprinkle of dry oregano. Then bake at about 230C for 10-15 minutes or until melted as desired. Make a cheeseburger pizza by using our beefy crumbles! Mix ketchup and mustard for your sauce, spread the cheese, then the sautéed crumbles (adding mushrooms to the crumbles is a good idea!) and sliced onions. Bake as above and then top with fresh lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles! Make a taco pizza by using our fiesta crumbles! Use salsa mixed with refried beans as your sauce. Spread the cheese and top with sautéed fiesta crumbles (adding mushrooms to the crumbles is tasty!) and sliced onions.
